Artillery Command — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 April 2026
Artillery Command is published by Xerophyte Software ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.
1. Data We Collect
Account and identity
- Device identifier — a unique ID generated by your device's operating system. Used to create your game account automatically on first launch. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number unless you choose to provide a display name in the game's settings.
- Display name — an optional name you set in-game. Visible to other players in online matches.
- Platform account link — if you choose to link your Steam or Google Play Games account, we store a platform-specific identifier so you can access your progress across devices. We do not receive or store your platform password.
Gameplay data
- Match history — turn data (aim angle, power, weapon used) for online matches. Stored on our server so both players can replay turns.
- Player statistics — wins, losses, units destroyed, survival wave progress. Stored locally on your device and summarised on our server for leaderboard purposes.
- Cosmetic preferences — your chosen tank colour, chassis, and aura effect. Shared with opponents in online matches so they can see your tank correctly.
Push notifications (Android only)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging token — a device-specific token used to send you "it's your turn" notifications. The token is stored on our server and used solely for in-game turn alerts. You can disable notifications in your device's system settings at any time.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the game service: creating accounts, matching players, recording and replaying turns.
- To send push notifications when it's your turn in an online match.
- To display your chosen display name and cosmetic preferences to opponents.
- To track gameplay statistics for unlocks and future leaderboard features.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except:
- Other players — your display name, tank cosmetics, and turn actions are visible to opponents in online matches.
- Infrastructure providers — our game server runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Push notifications are delivered via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). These services process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data Storage and Security
Game data is stored on a server hosted by AWS in the United States. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS). We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as you use the game. Match data for completed matches may be deleted after 90 days. You can reset all local data at any time via the in-game Settings panel ("Reset Progress").
6. Children's Privacy
Artillery Command is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance.
